Eligibility for sitting for the examination (All three criteria must be met):
1. MD or DO degree;
2. Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the USA or Canada;
3. Board eligible or board certified (current or expired) in an ACGME approved specialty (applicants may sit for the exam if board eligible and able to produce certificate of completion of residency or verify that they are within 2 months of completion of residency, but will not receive ABIHM certification until board certified).
PLEASE TAKE NOTE: No exceptions are made for individuals who do not meet all three criteria.
