Physician Database: Physicians Diplomates of the ABIHM have achieved an established standard for knowledge in integrative holistic medicine through a psychometrically validated examination. The ABIHM does not monitor the practices or history of its physician Diplomates and cannot provide further information beyond what each physician publishes for use on the ABIHM website.

Privacy Policy

The ABIHM never sells our contact information. At the discretion of the ABIHM Executive Director, the ABIHM Diplomate mailing list will sometimes be provided free of charge to educators or researchers offering opportunities that are perceived to be of broad interest to our Diplomates. In such cases, recipients of our Diplomates’ contact information are allowed a one-time mailing only. For individuals who are not ABIHM Diplomates, but who have purchased our online materials: your contact information will never be shared with a third party.

Refund Policy

No refunds are available for material delivered electronically. Exam registration is refundable minus a $200 administrative fee only if the ABIHM receives a written cancellation request at least two full weeks before the scheduled exam begins. Your data will be deleted from the ABIHM database; if you wish to take a future ABIHM exam, you must register and upload all documents completely anew. If you have cancelled your exam registration previously, you may not apply the cost of the Study Guide against the new registration.

No portion of the exam fee is refundable to “no shows” or those who cancel later than the specified time. Refunds are not available for those who have registered for the exam and have failed to provide all required documents by the given deadline.

Recertification fees are not refundable; if recertification is not fully accomplished by the final deadline, certification status will expire, and no refund will be provided.

Rescheduling Policy

Once you have registered for a specific exam administration, you may not modify your application to change your exam date (unless you are simply changing your Pearson Vue exam seating within the two week window of a given exam). If you must change your exam registration to a different exam, you will be charged a $100 administrative fee. Rescheduling is allowable up to two weeks before a scheduled exam begins; requests should be made by email to admin@abihm.org.
