Dear ABIHM Diplomate,
Your record is being transferred to www.aihm.org, the website of the Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine. Your active Diplomate status allows you to have a profile on the AIHM Provider Directory. We enthusiastically invite you to become a member of the Academy, as we have united both communities.
Though the ABIHM has recently discontinued the maintenance of certification (MOC) requirement for all active Diplomates AFTER the Class of 2008, the MOC process for the Class of 2008 now occurs on the AIHM website.
If you are an active Diplomate from the Classes of 2000-2007 and you’ve already accomplished one recertification cycle OR you are an active Diplomate from the Class of 2008 who has completed MOC already OR a member of the Class of 2009 or later, your status will be advanced to perpetually active after December first, at which time the ABIHM website will be redirected to the Academy’s website at www.AIHM.org.
If you are preparing for the American Board of Integrative Medicine (ABOIM) exam, you do not need a copy of your ABIHM certificate. The ABOIM routinely verifies your Diplomate status on the ABIHM’s physician database, which will continue to indicate your active status with its currently accurate expiration date until after the ABOIM application is due on December first.
If you are uncertain about when your status as an active Diplomate expires, please view this page, and simply type your last name in the Physician Name field.
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if we can be of service to you during the transition.
